Lionel Messi has three sons with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo. One of their boys, Mateo, turned 10 on September 11, and Antonela shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram to celebrate.
She posted a picture of Mateo with sweet birthday wishes.
“Happy birthday, Matu 🎂❤️ The one who always makes us laugh, brings joy to our home, and gives us big hugs! Funny, cheerful, happy — it’s great to celebrate your birthday today and always! We love you, little one 🎂.”
Mateo is the middle child, born in 2015. Their eldest son, Thiago, was born on November 2, 2012, while their youngest, Ciro, was born on March 10, 2018.
Recently, Messi likely played his last home match for the Argentine national team. He has not ruled out the possibility of retiring from international football after the 2026 World Cup.
