FIFA has set May 25 as the deadline for clubs to release selected players. After this date, Scaloni will have access to his full squad.
In early June, Argentina will play up to two warm-up matches with a nearly finalized 26-man roster. These matches will be the final preparation before June 11, when they begin their effort to defend the title they won in Qatar.
