Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday night, continuing their strong form in the Premier League. The match was decided by a single goal scored in the 39th minute by former Palace player Eberechi Eze.

In a game where both teams initially struggled to create significant scoring chances, the breakthrough for Arsenal came just before halftime. Following a free-kick routine, Declan Rice delivered a fine cross to the back post. Gabriel Magalhães headed the ball down into a dangerous area, where an unmarked Eze struck the ball with an acrobatic half-volley. The shot found the net before goalkeeper Dean Henderson could make a move, sealing the lead for the home side.

During the second half, Arsenal maintained possession for most of the period but could not find a second goal to extend their lead. Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Magalhães, and Viktor Gyökeres made attempts to score, but their efforts did not pay off. Just before the end of the first half, a header from Gabriel Magalhães had also hit the crossbar.
