Arsenal has agreed to a new long-term contract with Bukayo Saka.
The North London club has been in talks with Saka’s representatives to secure the winger’s future. They have now reached an agreement for a new, improved five-year deal, extending until 2031, in recognition of his development at the Emirates.
This contract is part of Arsenal’s effort to maintain key talents, with central defenders William Saliba and Gabriel Maghalaes also signing new deals recently, along with academy players Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri.
Saka’s agreement stands out as particularly significant, as the 24-year-old has become a central figure in Mikel Arteta’s team. He came through the Hale End academy and has established himself as one of Europe’s top wingers.
So far, Saka has played 217 Premier League matches for Arsenal, scoring 57 goals and providing 48 assists. He has also led the team as captain when Martin Odegaard was unavailable.
On the international stage, Saka will play a vital role for England in the upcoming 2026 World Cup. He has scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for the national team.
