Arsenal are ready to welcome Paris Saint-Germain ( PSG ) to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League semi-final on 30/4. This match promises to be one of the most intense and dramatic in Europe.
Arsenal overcame defending champions Real Madrid in the quarter-finals to book their place in the semi-finals. A brilliant performance from Mikel Arteta and his side showed that they were ready to take on PSG. But PSG were also at full strength, having eliminated Aston Villa in the quarter-finals. Despite being on the road, Luis Enrique’s men will be looking to put up some stiff resistance.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Saka’s superb display in the quarter-final against Real Madrid, including a crucial goal in the second leg, makes him a major threat down the right wing. Saka has scored five goals in seven Champions League games this season and will be Arsenal’s main man against PSG.
Ousmane Dembélé (PSG), the French player is PSG’s top scorer in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Although not scoring recently, Dembélé with seven goals in 12 UCL games this season, is expected to threaten Arsenal’s back line with his pace and skill.
Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel, Jorginho, Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all out due to injury. Thomas Partey is also out due to suspension. Meanwhile, all PSG players are fit and ready to play.
