Arsenal have made a solid start to the new Premier League season and had a fruitful summer transfer window. Now, they are focusing on contract extensions.

Details: Head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that the club is in discussions for a new contract with Jurrien Timber. He emphasized the team’s commitment to keeping the defender at the Emirates.

Quote: “We want him with us, 100%. He has almost every quality you could ask for in a defender,” Arteta said.

Recently, Arsenal’s media team announced a new long-term contract for centre-back William Saliba. While the exact length was not revealed, earlier reports suggested it could extend until 2030.

Reminder: Arsenal is currently in second place in the Premier League, holding 13 points from six matches, just two points behind the leaders. Their next match is against West Ham on Saturday, October 4.
