Arsenal FC claimed a 4-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby held at the Emirates Stadium. The victory was led by an opening goal from Leandro Trossard and a hat-trick by Eberechi Eze. Richarlison scored the single goal for Tottenham.
Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal the lead in the 36th minute with a left-footed finish from inside the penalty area, following an assist from Mikel Merino. In the 41st minute, Eberechi Eze doubled the lead, scoring from a pass provided by Declan Rice.
Shortly after the second half began, Eze scored again in the 46th minute from a Jurrien Timber assist, putting Arsenal ahead 3-0. At halftime, Tottenham made a change, bringing on Xavi Simons for defender Kevin Danso.
Tottenham tried to make a comeback, and in the 55th minute, Richarlison scored with a powerful shot from 35 yards, reducing the deficit to 3-1. However, Eze was not done yet. In the 76th minute, he completed his hat-trick with a right-footed shot set up by Trossard, securing the win for Arsenal.
This result strengthens Arsenal’s position in the Premier League standings. They are currently at the top with 29 points and now hold a clear 6-point lead in the league.
