Arsenal secured their position in the Premier League title race with a 2-0 victory over Brentford at the Emirates Stadium. A first-half header from Mikel Merino and a decisive 91st-minute goal from Bukayo Saka sealed the win for Arsenal, who are currently at the top of the league table.

With this win, the Gunners have extended their lead at the top to five points, having collected 33 points from 14 matches. Arsenal took control of the game from the start. In the 11th minute, a precise cross from Ben White found an unmarked Merino in the box. Merino jumped and directed a header into the bottom left corner of the net.
