Arsenal player Kai Havertz is close to returning as Mikel Arteta shared an injury update before the match against Liverpool.

The Gunners will face the Reds at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, aiming to maintain their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

In recent weeks, Arsenal has welcomed back several key players from injury, including Gabriel Jesus, William Saliba, and Gabriel Magalhaes, but three players are still sidelined.

Defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Cristhian Mosquera will miss the Liverpool match, while teenager Max Dowman is expected to be out until next month due to an ankle injury.
