Mikel Arteta regards Viktor Gyokeres as an “incredible striker” and noted that he poses challenges during training for his players.
The Sweden international has had a difficult start at the Emirates Stadium after his £63.5 million transfer from Sporting CP last summer.
Initially, he struggled to find his form and scored few goals, raising concerns about his ability to lead a title-contending team.
However, Gyokeres has recently found his stride, netting four goals in his last four Premier League matches, bringing his total to ten for the season and placing him fifth in the goal-scoring rankings.

“One thing leads to another,” Arteta said regarding Gyokeres’ recent performance ahead of the Sunday match against Chelsea at home. “As he plays well, he starts to understand the game, the league, and his teammates better.
“We have always recognized his talent. He is an incredible striker who just needs time to adapt to the team and the league. We are on the right path.
“His determination and expectations to contribute to the team are significant. My players tell me he is challenging to face in training, which is always a good indication of a strong player.”
