Arsenal needs to find replacements for two key players.
Arteta shared updates on player availability for tomorrow’s match.
Details: In a press conference before the Champions League quarterfinal against Sporting, Arsenal’s head coach Mikel Arteta discussed injuries and the return of players. He mentioned that while many key players are fit, two important ones will miss the game:
“Gabriel Magalhães is ready. Declan Rice is also ready. Leandro Trossard—possibly, yes.
But Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber have issues. They’re not ready yet. We’ll see. Hopefully, if everything goes well, they’ll be fit by the weekend,” Arteta said.
This season, Saka has played 42 matches for Arsenal, scoring 9 goals and providing 7 assists.
Timber has also made 43 appearances, scoring 4 goals and assisting 7 times.
Reminder: Arteta has also introduced a new training drill that has caught everyone off guard.
