Adolf Hutter has a positive view of Crépin Diatta.
The former coach of Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach expressed his approval of Senegalese player Crépin Diatta’s recent performances. Although Diatta has one year left on his contract with FC Monaco and his form has been inconsistent, there is optimism for his future. He also received praise from Hutter.
“He’s doing well! He had some critiques after the match against Lorient, which I agreed with, but he responded well on the field during the game against the Citizens, showing great attitude and encouraging his teammates,” Hutter stated at a press conference on Friday.
“He performed excellently, starting on the left and finishing on the right. I’m very pleased with his efforts. Is he a soldier? Yes, but he also plays football very well with his speed and strength, plus he can score and create assists,” added Hutter.
Diatta is set to start in the derby against Nice on Sunday afternoon (3:15 p.m. GMT) and is versatile enough to fit into various positions in Hutter’s lineup. With his contract ending this season, Diatta, who wants to stay at FC Monaco, may see an extension if he maintains his improved performance.
