Aston Villa is looking to bring Tammy Abraham back to the club.
Abraham is currently on loan at Besiktas from AS Roma, where he has scored 12 goals in 24 matches across all competitions.
According to The Telegraph, Villa is open to signing the England international back to the Premier League, potentially this month.
Unai Emery sees Abraham as a great fit to support Ollie Watkins, as the team has been lacking a solid backup since Jhon Duran left last January.
The manager is seeking new players to keep the team strong in various competitions. Villa recently defeated Tottenham to advance in the FA Cup, and they are just six points away from the top of the Premier League. The team is also still active in the Europa League.
Villa is close to securing a deal for Metz teenager Brian Madjo but aims to add a more experienced player alongside the 16-year-old.
Abraham previously played at Villa Park on loan during the 2018/19 season, scoring 26 goals in 40 matches, helping the club gain promotion to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old scored 30 goals in 82 appearances for Chelsea before moving to Roma for £34 million in 2021. He had an impressive debut season in Rome, netting 27 goals and winning the Europa Conference League, but injuries later affected his performance. He spent last season on loan at AC Milan before joining Besiktas last summer.
