Aston Villa secured a 2-1 victory over Leeds United in a Premier League match at Elland Road, thanks to an excellent performance from Morgan Rogers. He scored two key goals, one of which was a superb free-kick. Leeds had taken an early lead through a goal by Lukas Nmecha in the 8th minute, but Villa mounted a successful comeback in the second half.

Leeds started the match strongly with a clinical finish from Nmecha. However, after the break, Aston Villa found their rhythm. In the 48th minute, Rogers scored from inside the box with an assist from Donyell Malen to make the score 1-1. Later, in the 75th minute, Rogers scored a brilliant free-kick from outside the box, giving Villa a 2-1 lead.

In the final minutes, Leeds put heavy pressure on Aston Villa in an attempt to score an equalizer. They brought on substitutes such as Daniel James and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to strengthen their attack. Leeds created several opportunities, including a powerful header from Pascal Struijk. However, Villa’s defense remained solid, and they also brought on Lamare Bogarde to control the midfield, holding on to their lead until the final whistle.
