Barcelona player Raphinha is looking forward to the Ballon d’Or ceremony. He entertained his Instagram followers by sharing a funny video featuring his son and Catculer, the club’s popular mascot.
The video captures Raphinha’s son playing football in their backyard with the mascot, even scoring a goal against him. Afterwards, the mascot gives the boy a gift box, which he eagerly opens.
Raphinha’s partner, Taia Belloli, expressed her happiness over Barcelona’s kind gesture for their son and wrote in the video caption: “Who needs a squirrel when you have @catculer 😂🤏🏽 Thank you, @fcbarcelona, that’s what family does ❤️.”
To note, the Ballon d’Or ceremony is happening tonight in Paris. After a great last season, Raphinha is among the top contenders for the award, although PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé is seen as the favorite.
