This means she will miss Spain’s upcoming second-leg match against Germany in the Women’s Nations League final. She will also be absent for Barcelona’s crucial December games before the Liga F winter break. The surgery will be performed in Barcelona under the supervision of Dr. Antoni Dalmau.
It is anticipated that she will need at least three months to recover fully and return to playing. This timeline may vary depending on her progress with physiotherapy. This season in Liga F, Bonmatí has scored six goals and provided three assists. She recently won the Ballon d’Or award for the third consecutive time.
