Barcelona claims that in the 54th minute, after play resumed correctly, an Atlético player committed a foul in his own penalty area. Despite this, neither the main referee nor the VAR officials deemed it worthy of a penalty for Barcelona.

In addition, Barcelona is urging UEFA to investigate this incident and provide full access to the refereeing protocols and in-game communications from the match.
