Hansi Flick has announced Barcelona‘s squad for their upcoming match against Valencia at the Johan Cruyff Stadium on Sunday, September 14. The team will be without several important players.
Lamine Yamal is out due to health issues that arose after his national team duties. De Jong is also not included in the squad; he sustained a minor injury to his right leg while on international duty with the Netherlands but has started training again.
On a positive note, Marc Bernal is back. The defender, who was out for a year due to a serious knee injury sustained in a game against Rayo Vallecano, has been cleared to play again.
Additionally, Gavi, Balde, and Ter Stegen will also miss the match. Gavi is still recovering from a meniscus injury, and Balde is rehabilitating after a hamstring injury in his left leg.
