Certain circumstances are required for the transfer.
Barcelona is looking at Haaland as their primary striker following Lewandowski’s exit.
Details: As per Football Insider and journalist Pete O’Rourke, Manchester City has placed a €170 million price tag on Haaland.
Barcelona is among the top contenders for Haaland, viewing him as a long-term answer to their forward position if Lewandowski leaves.
However, the report mentions that the €170 million fee may not be sufficient to finalize the transfer. Haaland is satisfied at City and would only consider a move if the team’s performance falters and they don’t win the Premier League this season.
Earlier this year, Haaland signed a long-term deal with Manchester City that keeps him there until 2034. Thus, any interested clubs would likely need to pay over £170 million to acquire the prolific striker.
Last season, Haaland scored 34 goals in 48 matches for City, and this season he made history by scoring 50 goals in 49 Champions League games.
Reminder: Proud of the team. Erling Haaland comments on the match against Arsenal.
