Ferran Torres is likely nearing the end of his time at Camp Nou.

Details: Barcelona’s management, including president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco, has informed Torres that he will not be part of the team for the 2026/27 season. The club’s patience wore thin due to Torres’ ongoing goal-scoring struggles at the beginning of 2026.

Barcelona has set a €35 million asking price for Torres, aiming to generate funds for new signings. Their plan is clear: they will wait until the end of the 2026 World Cup, which is scheduled to take place this summer in North America. The club hopes that a strong performance from Ferran for Spain will help preserve or even increase his market value before a sale.

Interest from Premier League clubs has already emerged. Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on Torres and are ready to act once the World Cup concludes.

This season, Torres has played in 41 matches for Barcelona, scoring 16 goals and providing one assist. Transfermarkt currently values him at €50 million.
