Barker: Stellenbosch are ready for Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs are heading back to Cape Town this weekend. Their first visit in September ended with a 2-0 victory in the Betway Premiership at Athlone Stadium.
This time, they will face off in the Carling Knockout last 16 at DHL Stadium. The match is scheduled for Sunday at 15:00.
Barker commented that Chiefs have shown improvement this season. “They are very competitive. They’ve got some really good individuals,” he said.
“They have a specific style of play.”
“Hopefully, the Cup game allows us some relief from the league. It’s a unique chance to reach the quarter-finals, and we are prepared for it,” added the former AmaTuks coach.
