Bayern Munich Competes with Tottenham and Four Other Teams to Sign £100 Million English Midfielder

The midfielder in question has been very impressive irrespective of his side’s position in the EPL table.

Tottenham Hotspur has a midfield issue as the transfer window opens, especially after Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury last weekend. However, Spurs acted quickly, securing England international Conor Gallagher from Aston Villa.

While they focused on this signing, they missed out on another target.

Tottenham’s plans to acquire £100m Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson faced a setback, as Bayern Munich has also shown interest.

The 23-year-old has been a standout player despite Forest’s struggles. His performance at the City Ground caught Tottenham’s attention for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes indicate that Bayern Munich, under Vincent Kompany, is already pursuing a deal for Anderson.
