Erik ten Hag’s time as Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach was short-lived, but it was costly for the club.

Details: As reported by Bild, there was a unique compensation clause in his contract that was activated when Ten Hag was let go. This meant he received a total of six million euros, which included five million for compensation and one million for salary.
