Wilfred Ndidi has become an important player for Besiktas since joining from Leicester City last summer for £7 million.
The 29-year-old has played 25 matches for the Turkish club, scoring two goals against Konyaspor and Goztepe, and adding one assist in September 2025.
Despite facing two hamstring injuries this season and representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, Ndidi has found his place under coach Sergen Yalcin.
However, he may soon be on the move again, as Manchester United is reportedly looking at him as they work on their midfield improvements.
United plans to part ways with Casemiro at the end of the season and is expected to sign two new midfielders this summer.
Ndidi has been frequently linked to United in the past, but it seems that potential move might not happen.
According to Askin Ceylan, Besiktas is not considering any transfer offers for now, as they aim for European competition.
The team is currently fourth in the Super Lig, eight points behind Trabzonspor, who sit in third place, the last spot for Champions League football.
Therefore, they are not open to offers until the end of the season, with Yalcin particularly eager to keep Ndidi.
While the interest in Ndidi continues, given his age and United’s preference for younger players, this situation is unlikely to impact the club’s long-term strategies.
