Aston Villa, led by Unai Emery, is having a challenging start to the season. Despite new players joining the team, they have struggled in the Premier League and created an unwanted club record.
Following a goalless draw against Everton on Saturday, September 13, Aston Villa is positioned second from the bottom in the league table. This marks the first time in the club’s history that they have not scored in the opening four matches of a season. Additionally, Emery’s squad is currently the only team in the top seven divisions of England yet to score in the new campaign.
So far, the team’s results include goalless draws with Everton and Newcastle, alongside defeats to Crystal Palace (0-3) and Brentford (0-1). Interestingly, Villa ended last season with a 0-2 loss against Manchester United and last found the net in the Premier League on May 16 against Tottenham.
