Four candidates to replace Seoane.
Borussia Mönchengladbach has dismissed head coach Gerardo Seoane following a poor start to the season and a heavy 0-4 loss to Werder Bremen. Youth team coach Eugen Polanski will serve as interim manager while the club seeks a new head coach.
Details: As reported by Kicker, the management is evaluating various candidates for the head coach role. The list includes Urs Fischer (formerly of Union Berlin), Pellegrino Matarazzo (Hoffenheim), Martin Demichelis (Monterrey), and Edin Terzić (Borussia Dortmund). A new appointment is expected soon.
Club president Rainer Bonhof recognized Seoane’s efforts, highlighting that he had improved team stability and player development. However, the recent game results and the start of the current season did not meet the club’s expectations.
Reminder: Borussia Dortmund plans to address Nmecha’s posts regarding Charlie Kirk.
