Bournemouth is aware of strong interest from other Premier League teams in midfielder Alex Scott.

Scott has performed well since becoming a regular starter in Andoni Iraola’s squad this season, making 18 league appearances for the team. His strong performances led to an England call-up during the November international break.

Bournemouth has sold several important players in recent transfer windows, including Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City for £62.5 million this month.

This sale has increased Bournemouth’s total incoming transfers to around £268 million since last summer, with significant fees also received for Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Ilia Zabaryni.

Scott might be the next prominent player to leave. Reports indicate that Manchester United, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa are all keeping an eye on him.

Bournemouth signed Scott from Bristol City in 2023 for about £25 million. Although injuries affected his first two seasons, he has thrived since returning to full fitness.

He is under contract at The Vitality Stadium until 2028, putting Bournemouth in a favorable position for negotiations.
