They want to keep the partnership going.

In spring 2025, Brazil agreed to work with Carlo Ancelotti as head coach. The football federation is satisfied with his performance and wants to continue their partnership.

Details: As reported by Jornal O Globo, Brazil plans to offer Ancelotti a new contract. His current deal lasts until the end of the 2026 World Cup, but the federation is ready to extend it for another four years, until 2030. The national team management is reportedly happy with Ancelotti’s work.

Brazil has already qualified for the 2026 World Cup and is preparing for the event, with a friendly match against Japan set for October 14.

Reminder: Newcastle’s Brazilian players Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton had a scary experience on their way to South Korea for national team duty. The plane they were on had to make an unexpected return to Amsterdam.
