Antoine Semenyo has gained attention after his performances at AFC Bournemouth over the last two seasons, making him a notable name on Manchester United‘s radar.

Recently, United has been in talks with Bournemouth to learn more about Semenyo’s situation.

Currently, the competition appears to be between Manchester City and Manchester United for the forward, with both clubs actively pursuing him.

Reports suggest Chelsea may also be looking to make a move, while Liverpool is keeping an eye on developments.

According to sources, Manchester United aims to negotiate Antoine Semenyo’s release clause in instalments instead of paying the full £65 million upfront.

Jason Wilcox and Ruben Amorim consider the Ghanaian forward an ideal fit for their club model, with Amorim supporting the initiative.

It has been revealed that the first payment of Semenyo’s release clause is expected to be around £20 million, with the overall figure close to £60 million spread over several years, including £5 million in potential add-ons.

Both Manchester clubs are working with the player’s camp to finalize an agreement.

Chelsea has shown interest but is reportedly lagging behind the Manchester teams.

The use of instalments would allow United to manage their cash flow effectively, similar to their approach with Matheus Cunha’s release clause last summer.

The release clause sets the fee but often not the payment details, which is becoming more common in the sport.

The final decision now rests with Semenyo, and it could come soon.
