Brentford hosts Bournemouth at the Gtech Community Stadium for a Premier League match on Saturday afternoon.
This game is Brentford’s last match of the year. The team comes off a key 2-0 win over Wolves, breaking a four-game winless streak thanks to two goals from Keane Lewis-Potter.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, is looking to end a tough run of eight games without a win. They recently drew 1-1 with Burnley, conceding a late goal. Historically, Bournemouth has struggled at this ground, with no wins in their last 10 visits to Brentford since 2005.
Brentford manager Keith Andrews announced that Reiss Nelson is back in training after missing four matches. “Reiss is training… he’s in good shape,” he said. However, Dango Ouattara and Frank Onyeka are unavailable due to Africa Cup of Nations responsibilities. Long-term injuries keep Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo out for the season, while Josh Dasilva is recovering from a knee injury.
Andoni Iraola expects to bring an unchanged squad to London. Tyler Adams, Matai Akinmboni, Ben Doak, and Veljko Milosavljevic are still injured. Despite transfer rumors, Antoine Semenyo is likely to lead the attack, having been involved in 20 Premier League goals in 2025, tying a club record for the year.
Brentford has made their home ground a difficult place for opponents, earning 17 of their 23 league points at the Gtech Community Stadium this season. They are unbeaten in their last nine league games against Bournemouth, winning the last three matches. Keane Lewis-Potter is in good form after scoring twice in his last game, matching his total from his previous 69 matches combined.
Bournemouth has managed only four points from their last eight games, the lowest among teams outside of Burnley and Wolves. Despite their lack of wins, they have been strong in away matches, maintaining an eight-match unbeaten run in London.
Brentford predicted XI: Kelleher; Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Henry; Jensen, Janelt, Yarmolyuk; Schade, Thiago, Lewis-Potter
Bournemouth predicted XI: Petrović; Jiménez, Diakité, Senesi, Truffert; Tavernier, Cook; Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo; Evanilson
