Brentford heads to Molineux on Saturday to improve their poor away performance.
The team has lost seven out of eight away matches in the Premier League this season. They will face a Wolves team that is currently at the bottom of the table and has yet to win. Despite struggling on the road, Brentford has strong offensive capabilities.
Igor Thiago is the league’s second-highest scorer with 11 goals. If Brentford can stop dropping points from winning situations—a statistic they lead—the team will be optimistic about adding to Wolves’ difficulties.
Manager Keith Andrews is concerned about two important players. Top scorer Igor Thiago and midfielder Jordan Henderson both missed the recent cup match due to injuries. However, there is hope they will be fit for Saturday’s game. If Thiago is unable to play, Kevin Schade or Keane Lewis-Potter may step in as strikers.
Additionally, Frank Onyeka and Dango Ouattara are not available because of AFCON commitments. Goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher is expected to return to the starting team after being rested. Aaron Hickey should also be back in defense as Andrews aims to put out his best squad.
Brentford predicted XI: Kelleher; Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Hickey; Henderson, Yarmolyuk; Schade, Damsgaard, Lewis-Potter; Thiago
The Premier League match is set for Molineux on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Kick-off is at 3:00 pm GMT.
This game will not be shown live in the UK due to the Saturday 3:00 pm blackout. Highlights will be available on BBC’s Match of the Day.
