Bruno Fernandes, the 31-year-old Portuguese midfielder for Manchester United, has expressed his disappointment regarding Declan Rice’s decision to join Arsenal. In a recent interview with Joel Beya, Fernandes articulated his feelings about what he believes would have been an ideal addition to the United squad.
According to Fernandes, Rice, who currently plays a pivotal role in Arsenal’s midfield, would have been an exceptional fit for Manchester United. The midfielder stated,
“I’ve always said Rice is a player who should’ve played for Manchester United, and I was really disappointed when he decided to join Arsenal. I’ve always believed he would fit perfectly into our club.”
