The team is back with their coach.
Fortunately, there were no major injuries.
Details: Before the MTN8 final, Orlando Pirates received good news: head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, 46, has returned to oversee the team.
Ouaddou, who was recovering from a car accident last week, was seen with his right arm in a cast as he managed a practice session at Rand Stadium. The coach was actively involved, giving directions to his players as they prepared for Saturday’s match in Mbombela.
Although the Pirates will hold an official press conference at Rand Stadium this afternoon, Ouaddou participated in the final preparations for the big game.
Currently, it appears the coach will be able to lead the team in Saturday’s final against Stellenbosch at Mbombela Stadium.
Reminder: Unfortunately, there was an incident involving the Orlando Pirates team while they were returning from Gqeberha.
