Alcaraz mentioned in his on-court interview: “Everyone is working hard, so you need to be prepared for that.

“As for me, I’ve said many times that I need to keep my focus, not lose it during matches or throughout the tournament.

“I’m trying to improve my off-court routine because it really helps when I step on the court and give my all.

“I’m focusing on staying happy and positive all the time, which is very important for me.”

Alcaraz’s 2025 Australian Open journey ended in the quarter-finals with a four-set defeat to Djokovic.

“They weren’t overly concerned about winning or losing, but what Carlos [Alcaraz] showed was incredible.

“Watching from courtside, the speed and power he displayed were extraordinary.

“I’m reconsidering my choice because I picked Jannik Sinner for the three-peat. But from what I saw, it’s going to be challenging for Jannik. Still, there’s a lot left to play out.”

Sinner aims to achieve a historic milestone at the Australian Open by becoming only the second man in the Open Era, after Djokovic, to win three consecutive titles in Melbourne.
