On October 8, 2015, Jurgen Klopp became the manager of Liverpool. The German coach took charge of the team after Brendan Rodgers left the position. In his first game as manager on October 17, 2015, Liverpool played to a 0-0 draw away at Tottenham.

Under Jurgen Klopp’s leadership, Liverpool secured eight trophies. His most significant achievements include winning the Champions League in 2019 and guiding the club to its first league championship in 30 years in 2020.

Jurgen Klopp departed from Liverpool at the end of the 2023/2024 season. He is now employed in the Red Bull football organization.
