Celtic is currently in second place in the Scottish Premiership, trying to catch up with Hearts, who are six points ahead.
If Celtic does not manage to surpass Hearts, it would be the first time in five years that the club has not won the league title.
Historically, the club has only missed one league title in the last 14 seasons.
To strengthen their defense and attack, the club has signed right-back Julian Araujo on loan from Bournemouth for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old Mexico international isn’t the only defender the team is considering adding.
The women’s team is also aiming to close the gap, currently seven points behind Glasgow City.
According to Kathryn Batte of The Telegraph, Celtic’s Women’s team is interested in signing Manchester United defender Evie Rabjohn.
If they secure her signature, it is likely to be a free transfer as Rabjohn’s contract expires this summer.
With just six months left on her contract, she can sign a pre-contract agreement to plan her next move.
The interest in Evie Rabjohn follows their agreement to bring in Manchester City players Poppy Pritchard and Tara O’Hanlon on loan until the season ends.
New manager Grant Scott is focused on strengthening his squad, not just for this season but also in preparation for next year’s pre-season training.
