Chelsea is looking to pursue Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo once again.

Mainoo’s future is uncertain as the 20-year-old has not started any Premier League matches this season, accumulating only 212 minutes of play.

During the recent match against Bournemouth, Mainoo’s half-brother, Jordan, was seen at Old Trafford wearing a “Free Kobbie Mainoo” t-shirt, highlighting his sibling’s lack of playing time.

The England international is likely to seek a transfer in the upcoming window, with reports from The Telegraph indicating Chelsea is open to a move. The club has previously shown interest in Mainoo and had a previous inquiry turned down.

Meanwhile, Chelsea aims to enhance their midfield options as Enzo Maresca seeks to ease the demands on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

With Romeo Lavia sidelined due to injury, Chelsea’s need for extra players has increased. Mainoo is on their list of potential additions, along with Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton.

Around 10 clubs are reportedly interested in signing Mainoo, with teams from both the Premier League and Europe in contention. Napoli is among those linked, offering a chance for Mainoo to team up again with former Manchester United players Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay.
