Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has shared an update on his team’s condition ahead of their match against Crystal Palace this weekend.
Cole Palmer is back in training after missing the recent victory over Pafos. He was rested during the Champions League game as a precaution but is now ready for the match on Sunday.
A sickness bug affected the team’s preparations, but Rosenior mentioned that those affected are on the mend.
During his pre-match press conference, Rosenior stated: “Regarding the sickness, the players are getting back to full health.
“We had to be cautious about that. Estevao and Jamie Gittens were quite ill. I’ve had to change some plans, but fortunately, the players are recovering, including Enzo [Fernandez].
“Cole [Palmer] is doing well and joined training today, which is a great sign. Jorgensen had a scan, and the results were more positive than expected. He won’t be ready for Palace but might be available for Napoli.”
