Chelsea has had an active transfer window and brought in several new players, but they are still looking to strengthen the squad. The London club is set to make a bid for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, with plans to offer £70 million in January, according to tribalfootball.

Previously, Chelsea had offered £35 million for the 22-year-old, but their approach was turned down in the closing days of the summer transfer window. Now, they are preparing to make another attempt in the winter, aiming to persuade Barcelona to part with the attacking midfielder.

This past summer, Barcelona considered selling Lopez but was encouraged by head coach Hansi Flick to keep him on the team.
