Footem.in – Christopher Nkunku’s move to AC Milan is a done deal! Chelsea and the Rossoneri have finalized a transfer agreement worth €35 million, including potential bonuses, sources confirm.
According to reports, Chelsea and Milan have shaken hands on a verbal agreement. The final step involves exchanging documents to officially seal the French striker’s transfer to San Siro.
Nkunku reportedly agreed to personal terms with Milan earlier in the week and is set to sign a five-year contract with the Serie A giants.
Reports suggest Nkunku accepted a pay cut to facilitate the move, with his salary at San Siro expected to be less than €5 million per season.
AC Milan have been actively searching for a new striker throughout this summer’s transfer window. They previously pursued Victor Boniface and Conrad Harder.
However, those plans fell through. Boniface reportedly failed his medical, and Harder’s transfer was delayed due to Sporting CP’s search for a replacement.
Milan swiftly shifted their attention to Christopher Nkunku, who is now poised to become their new leading man at San Siro.
