Chiefs announce update on co-coaches
Kaizer Chiefs have announced the new coaches following the departure of head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
After confirming Nabi’s exit on Friday, the club stated that his assistants, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, will take charge for the rest of the season.
“Following the announcement today of a mutual parting of ways with Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi, the Club can confirm that Coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will lead the technical team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season,” the club said.
“Their leadership will help maintain continuity and stability as the Club prepares for upcoming matches, both locally and internationally.”

“The Club is dedicated to its goals and appreciates the continued loyalty, patience, and support from Amakhosi fans,” the statement concluded.
Nabi missed two matches last season due to illness and another nine this season for compassionate leave and a suspension. During his absence, Youssef and Kaze led the team to seven wins, two draws, and only two losses.
