Cienciano midfielder Cristian Neira is preparing for a tough match against Sport Boys in Liga1 Te Apuesto, as reported by Depor.pe. Neira, who scored in the recent win over Alianza Universidad, highlighted the team’s collective effort as more important than individual achievements.
“I’m pleased with my personal progress, but I’m even more satisfied with the team’s performance. The team is what matters, and everyone has to contribute in any way possible,” he stated.
Neira pointed out that the team has maintained its training intensity despite mixed results earlier in the season. “We’re training well. Sometimes results don’t meet expectations, but that’s part of football. We need to keep working, move forward, and prepare for tomorrow’s tough match,” he noted.
Looking ahead, he recognized Sport Boys as a strong opponent. “We understand it’s going to be a challenging game. We know what Boys are capable of, but we need to concentrate on ourselves and execute our plan correctly. The goal is clear, and it’s crucial for us to secure three points,” he emphasized.
The match between Cienciano and Sport Boys is set for Wednesday at Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. This is an opportunity for the Cusco team to build on their recent success and gain momentum in the league.
