Coach Ouaddou: I was a defender
Orlando Pirates have not allowed any goals in their last seven matches. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou shared how he has played a key role in their strong defense.
“I was a defender, but I enjoy the game,” said Ouaddou, a former player for Fulham and Morocco. “I like fast football and quick passes,” he told reporters.

“It’s essential to be effective in both penalty areas. That’s crucial for me. Even if we score three or four goals, I remain focused on our defensive strategy,” Ouaddou explained.
The upcoming match for the French-Moroccan coach is a cup game, as Siwelele FC will face Orlando Pirates in the Carling Knockout last 16 this Saturday at 15:00 at Orlando Stadium.
