The Gunners are strengthening their defense.

Arsenal has signed young defender Piero Hincapie on loan.

Details: Arsenal announced on their official X social media account that they have secured the loan of 23-year-old Colombian defender Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen.

The deal is reportedly worth €52 million, which Arsenal will have to pay after the one-year loan ends to finalize the transfer.

Last season, Hincapie played 45 matches for Bayer, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Transfermarkt values him at €50 million.

Reminder: Another important player! Saliba suffered an injury early in the match against Liverpool.
