Como will be missing their head coach for another match.
The appeals court has denied Como’s request.
Details: Today, it was revealed that the appeals court rejected Como’s appeal concerning the suspensions of Jesus Rodriguez and Cesc Fabregas, which were imposed after the match against Cremonese on September 27.
Jesus Rodriguez received a three-match ban for his conduct during the Serie A Matchday 5 game, while coach Cesc Fabregas faces a two-match suspension.
Though both have already sat out one match, the club sought to lessen their suspensions, but the appeal was unsuccessful.
The appeals court’s official statement said:
“The First Section of the National Sports Appeals Court has denied Como’s appeal, maintaining the three-match suspension of player Jesus Rodriguez Caraballo and the two-match suspension and warning for coach Francesc Fabregas Soler from the match against Cremonese on September 27, part of Matchday 5 of the Serie A championship.”
Como’s upcoming match against Juventus on Matchday 7 of Serie A will also take place without Rodriguez and Fabregas.
Currently, Como is in 8th place in the league table with 9 points.
Reminder: Nico Paz could return to Real Madrid as early as the summer of 2026.
