At the same time, Cristiano is helping the Portuguese national football team advance. He played a key role in their victory during the first World Cup 2026 qualifier, as Portugal defeated Armenia 0-5 on September 6, with Ronaldo scoring two goals.
Portugal’s next qualifier is scheduled for September 9, away against Hungary.
