Cristiano Ronaldo is making headlines in Saudi Arabia with his remarkable achievements, proving age is just a number.

Since joining Al-Nassr in early 2023, he has an impressive record of over 114 goals in 128 matches for the team.

In the 2025 season, he topped the scoring charts again and received his third Best Middle East Player award at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

As he celebrated his 40th birthday, Ronaldo continued to excel. In his first game of 2026 against Al-Qadsiah, he converted his 180th career penalty, reaching 958 official goals and moving closer to the 1,000-goal mark.

Even though his performance shows he still has a lot left in him, the captain of Al-Nassr is preparing for life after football.

Reports indicate he may give up on his long-term £30 million retirement villa project in Quinta da Marinha, Portugal, due to privacy concerns.

Ronaldo has spent four years working on the eight-bedroom mansion, which features an infinity pool, underground parking, and a private cinema. However, he is worried about not having enough privacy.

He had tried to buy nearby land from a luxury hotel and a golf course for added security, but these requests were denied.

If he sells the property, it could still host a private wedding ceremony for Ronaldo and his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez. He proposed to her in August after nine years together.

The couple, who met in 2016 while Ronaldo played for Real Madrid, had plans to marry after the 2026 World Cup at Funchal Cathedral.

If Ronaldo decides to move forward, the Cascais mansion—complete with pools, a playground for their five kids, and luxury features like gold taps—might serve as a venue for their wedding, housewarming, and farewell party.

This magnificent property adds to his extensive real estate portfolio, which includes a £6 million penthouse in Lisbon, a mansion in Madrid, and a luxury villa in Turin from his time with Juventus.
