Cristiano Ronaldo continues his remarkable career, having achieved numerous team and individual accolades.
Last night, he received the Best Middle East Player of the Year 2025 award at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.
The former Manchester United player has earned an impressive 59 individual awards, including five Ballon d’Ors, 27 Player of the Year awards, and 26 top goalscorer titles.
Over his 23-year career, Ronaldo has won 34 titles in total, spanning international, continental, and domestic football.
His trophy collection includes a European Championship, two Nations League titles, five Champions League trophies, four Club World Cups, three UEFA Supercup titles, seven league trophies, and 12 domestic cups.
Despite his extensive achievements, Ronaldo has one major goal in mind.
He currently has 956 goals for both club and country and aims to reach the milestone of 1,000 goals.
During the Globe Soccer Awards, he shared his thoughts on his future: “My passion is high and I want to continue.”
He added, “It doesn’t matter where I play, whether in the Middle East or Europe. I always enjoy playing football and I want to keep going.”
“I will reach the number (of 1,000 goals) for sure, if no injuries.”
With his contract at Al-Nassr set to expire in 2027, there’s a possibility he may move elsewhere if he doesn’t reach his goal in that time.
However, given his current average of around 30 goals per season with Al-Nassr, he has a strong chance of achieving his 1,000th goal with the Saudi Pro League club.
