Al Nassr’s proposal reportedly includes a two-year deal, with the final season as an optional extension for Ronaldo. Additionally, the club’s sporting director, Fernando Hierro, has reinforced the team by signing Colombian forward Jhon Durán and committing to building a top-tier squad.

Beyond strengthening the roster, Al Nassr is offering Ronaldo a staggering salary of $200 million per season, according to MARCA. The Spanish outlet also noted that Ronaldo’s business ventures and endorsements have flourished since his move to Saudi Arabia, with reports suggesting the Portuguese star could even become involved in ownership of Spain’s Valencia CF through Al Nassr’s leadership.

Chasing the 1,000-goal milestone

Since joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo has netted an impressive 96 goals, bringing his career total to 933. With only 67 goals standing between him and the elusive 1,000-goal mark, the achievement no longer seems out of reach for the prolific forward.

Ronaldo’s current form mirrors his best years, with 25 goals in 23 matches this season, including nine in his last nine games. His closest competitor in the race to 1,000 goals is Lionel Messi, who has tallied 863 career goals. Messi, however, holds a slight edge in age, as the 37-year-old continues to shine with Inter Miami and the Argentine national team.
