The debate over who is the greatest of all time continues, focusing on the iconic rivalry in soccer: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo discussed various topics, including his relationship with Georgina Rodriguez, the passing of Diogo Jota, and remarks from Wayne Rooney.

While speaking about the rivalry, Ronaldo was asked whether Messi is better than him. He responded, “I don’t agree with that opinion. I’m not going to be humble.”

Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammate, previously stated that he believes Messi is the better player. Ronaldo stated, “Those statements don’t bother me at all.”

Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for the most goals in UEFA Champions League history with 140 goals. He scored 450 goals for Real Madrid, making him the club’s top scorer, and is Portugal’s all-time leading scorer with 141 goals.

His achievements include winning five UEFA Champions League titles, three Premier League titles, two LaLiga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, one European Championship, and two UEFA Nations League titles with Portugal. Notably, he is still missing the World Cup.

Messi scored 672 goals in 778 appearances for FC Barcelona and is Argentina’s top scorer with 114 goals in 194 matches. He has won 35 trophies with Barcelona, including ten LaLiga titles, four UEFA Champions League titles, and seven Copa del Rey trophies. For Argentina, he has won two Copa Americas and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
